Liquid-phase oil-water separation

AHP-55 Liquid Phase Vessels

Ecologix AHP-55 Liquid Phase Vessels charged with our OrganoClay media are designed for the removal of free floating oil droplets and sheens in water. Commonly used before other carbon vessels. This can alleviate the need for an oil water separator only if oil amounts are small.

AHP-55 Liquid Phase Vessel

The AHP-55 Series Liquid Phase Vessels will not bulge, leak, or rust apart. The top is made of heavy-gauge domed steel and powder coated for durability. Each vessel has dual liners, a heavy domed internal bottom, influent and effluent sample and pressure ports, and top-mounted inlet and outlet connections. All canisters are pressure tested before shipping.

AHP-55 Liquid Phase Vessels + MCM-830P OrganoClay

Ecologix OrganoClay - MCM-830P is a modified clay mineral designed for process and wastewater treatment. It removes a wide range of hydrocarbons and trace amounts of heavy metals without swelling or blinding when absorbing contaminants.

Because the media is 100% non-swelling modified clay, it does not require anthracite blending for porosity. Filter beds typically run two to three times longer than competitive clay and anthracite blends, while its greater amount of active material helps remove contaminants present at lower levels.

AHP-55 Sample Pressure Kit

The AHP-55 pressure kit includes two 1/4" PVC valves, tees, and 0-60 psi pressure gauges. It threads directly into the vessel top, making it easy to check pressure drop across the media and collect influent and effluent samples.
