Biological wastewater treatment for Power Plants
The Dave Johnston Power Plant located in Glenrock, WY needed to replace their aging wastewater treatment plant which was almost 40 years old. By using the Ecologix BioClear BC-20-ES-CCT system, they are now able to treat and disinfect their water to the required permitted effluent standards. The new wastewater treatment plant is designed to handle flow rates ranging from 10,000 - 20,000 Gallons Per Day.

Dave Johnston Power Plant wastewater treatment
The Dave Johnston Power Plant in Glenrock, Wyoming replaced an aging wastewater treatment plant with an Ecologix BioClear BC-20-ES-CCT system. The system treats and disinfects water to the required permitted effluent standards at flow rates of 10,000-20,000 gallons per day.
Because of harsh central Wyoming winter conditions, the BioClear was partially buried nine feet below ground to provide temperature stability. This avoided insulation costs, though three small heaters were installed to prevent freezing during winter months.
Ecologix met the operating requirements at a lower cost than an equally sized packaged treatment plant designed for the conditions.
