Sand Media Filters - Deep Bed (36" High)
Achieve reliable and low-maintenance water filtration down to 15 microns with Ecologix high-rate automatic backwashing deep bed sand media filters. Engineered for stringent general-purpose applications, these permanent media filters efficiently remove organic and inorganic suspended solids. The automated backwashing system ensures continuous "on-line" operation for extended periods, triggered by either elapsed time or pressure differential. During the brief backwash cycle, a portion of the system's own clean filtered water is used to regenerate the media in multi-tank systems, minimizing water waste. Single-tank systems utilize raw water for backwashing, with optional external backwash sources available for both configurations to optimize performance and water usage.
