The Challenge

A plastics manufacturer required a robust wastewater treatment solution to process water sourced from a local lake for industrial reuse. Raw lake water presented significant variability and high loading of silt and minerals.

The Ecologix Solution

The client required a fully redundant system capable of hitting a peak 500 GPM flow rate. Ecologix delivered a skidded integration featuring two specialized DAF units designed for maximum reliability.

Dual E-510 DAF Systems

  • Material: 304 Stainless Steel for long-term corrosion resistance.
  • Capacity: 722 ft² surface area per unit (462 GPM rated).
  • Redundancy: Dual-skid setup allows for maintenance without facility downtime.

Advanced Pre-Treatment

Paired with FLT-860 Flocculation Tube Systems, the solution ensures optimal chemical mixing and pH control. Featuring Siemens PLC/HMI automation and Goulds i-FRAME process pumps, the system offers seamless SCADA integration.

Results & Performance

By utilizing pre-built skidded systems, Ecologix met an aggressive 3-week turnaround on equipment delivery. The facility now handles a peak sludge volume of approximately 7,488 GPD at 4% solids concentration, ensuring clean, recycled water for the production line.
